The Scholastic Assessment Test, or SAT, is a widely used standardized test for college admission in the United States. The SAT assesses a person’s intellectual readiness for college and is administered by the College Board, a nonprofit organization. What is the SAT Test Format?

How is scoring calculated for a SAT Test?

SAT examination duration
SAT, including optional essays, has a duration of about three hours and twenty-five minutes.
The Reading and Writing and Language sections (EBRW) take a total of 65 minutes and 35 minutes, respectively. There are 80 minutes for math. Additionally, there is a compulsory 50 minute Essay.
